Q. What is a Baby Planner?
A. Baby Planners are being heralded as the new go to service for expecting parents. They do it all. Think: what a wedding planner did for your wedding a baby planner will do for the coming of your baby. So, anything from building your registry to creating an amazing baby shower. And that's just the basics.
Q. Why would someone need a Baby Planner?
A. There are many reasons you might need to hire a baby planner. Here are a few: a) More women are working 50+ hrs a week, coming home at 6pm or 7pm at night and feeling exhausted. b) More women are having multiples. c) Many are on their 2nd or 3rd child which in and of itself is overwhelming. d) More families are moving around so we're not living near our parents/sisters/friends. It's hard to do a lot of the necessary things without that great family support. e) And someone may simply want to spoil you a little! This would be the best time to do it.
Q. When’s the best time to hire a Baby Planner?
A. Any time is a good time! We can help parents out at all stages throughout the pregnancy and beyond. Although we specialize on the prenatal aspect with services listed on our Services page we also help with post delivery items such as childproofing, organic baby food cooking and nanny services to name a few.
Q. How does a Baby Planner work?
A. The first thing we do is take you out for a cup of decaf and talk about what you're looking for. The initial consultation is always free and it lasts as long as it lasts. From this meeting, we create a list of services that you need and determine how long it'll take to complete them. To secure our help we require a 50% down payment based upon total hours. As each service is completed we review how long it took and calculate the final payment from that.
Q. How much do you cost?
A. Across the country there are about two dozen baby planners. Their prices range from about $65 - $130 per hour based upon their geographical location. Our prices are towards the low end of the spectrum and very reasonable. Please contact us for a quote.
Q. Do you offer a Military Discount?
A. Absolutely! I personally have a soft spot for military families - my dad retired Navy and my husband was in the Navy for 10 yrs. So, I know how hard it can be to not have Dad around and be trying to do this all on your own. I also know that money can be a little tight which is why I offer 15% off. Q. Do you provide Gift Certificates?
A. Yes, we do. We think Gift Certificates are a wonderful way to help out a loved one by providing them with a little comfort and peace of mind that can come from dedicated help. And again our initial consultation is free so anything you offer would be in addition to that.

Q. What is the National Baby Planners Association?
A. The NBPA is an organization of recognized baby planners across the world. The great thing about belonging to this association is that it shows that there are regulations and standards by which we must abide in order to be able to join. We are a group of professionals doing a job we truly believe in.
